Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before engaging Murni Tukang for plumbing services. By submitting a contact form or booking a service visit, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Definitions
- "We / Us / Our" — Murni Tukang, a plumbing service provider registered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
- "You / Client" — the individual or household engaging our services.
- "Service" — any residential plumbing work agreed between us, including tap replacement, drain clearing, and shower set installation.
- "Agreement" — these Terms and Conditions together with any service confirmation provided to you.
- "Site" — the website at murnituk.info.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an enquiry or confirming a service booking, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You have the legal authority to engage plumbing services for the property in question
- You have read and agree to these Terms
3. Services Provided
We provide the following residential plumbing services in Kuala Lumpur:
- Tap and showerhead replacement (single fitting, from RM 245)
- Sewer-line branch clearing (single waste branch, from RM 460)
- Bathroom mixer and rainfall shower set installation (from RM 1,420)
Services are available to residential properties within central Kuala Lumpur and selected surrounding areas. We reserve the right to decline bookings outside our operating area.
4. Booking and Scope Confirmation
A booking is confirmed when we communicate acceptance of your enquiry and agree on a visit time and service scope. The price and scope described in our confirmation apply to the specific work discussed. Any work beyond the agreed scope will be discussed with you before proceeding — no additional charges arise without your approval.
5. Client Responsibilities
- Ensure access to the property and relevant areas at the agreed visit time
- Provide accurate information about the plumbing issue or installation requirements
- Ensure that any fittings supplied by you are appropriate for the described task
- Notify us promptly if the agreed time needs to be changed (at least 24 hours' notice where possible)
6. Pricing and Payment
All prices are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Published rates are per service scope as described on our Solutions page. Payment is due upon completion of the service visit unless otherwise agreed. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking.
If additional work is required beyond the agreed scope, we will provide a verbal estimate and obtain your approval before proceeding. Declined additional work does not affect payment for the original agreed scope.
7. Return Visit Policy
If a plumbing issue directly related to our completed work recurs within 14 days of the service visit, contact us promptly. We will assess the situation at no call-out charge. This policy applies only to work we have carried out and does not cover unrelated issues, damage caused by the client, or pre-existing conditions that were not part of the agreed scope.
8. Cancellations
You may cancel or reschedule a booking by contacting us at least 24 hours before the agreed visit time. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a call-out fee at our discretion, particularly if materials had been sourced specifically for your job.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Murni Tukang website — including text, imagery, and design — is our property or used under licence. You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute any content without our written permission.
10. Disclaimers
Our services are provided on a professional basis. However:
- We cannot foresee all pre-existing conditions in pipework or fittings — undisclosed or hidden defects may affect outcomes
- We do not provide structural engineering, electrical, or gas fitting services
- Outcomes depend in part on the quality and suitability of fittings supplied by clients
11. Limitation of Liability
Our liability for any claim arising from a service visit is limited to the amount paid for that visit. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, as provided under Malaysian law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Murni Tukang against any claims, costs, or damages arising from your provision of inaccurate information, obstruction of our work, or use of unsuitable fittings that were your responsibility to source.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from or related to our services will first be addressed through direct communication. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to the appropriate tribunal or court in Kuala Lumpur under Malaysian jurisdiction.
14. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with any service confirmation, constitute the full agreement between us.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of future enforcement.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights under this agreement without our consent.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. The current version is always available on this page, with the effective date noted at the top. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
