Murni Tukang started from a simple observation: getting a plumber to a KL home was often straightforward, but knowing exactly what you'd pay, and trusting the job was properly finished, was less so. The business was set up to close that gap.
We focus on three residential plumbing tasks — tap and showerhead replacement, sewer-line branch clearing, and complete shower set installation. Each service has a defined scope and a stated price, so there's no room for ambiguity on either side. If something falls outside the scope, we discuss it before we proceed.
Kuala Lumpur homes range from brand-new condominiums to 1970s terrace houses with pipes that have been patched several times over. We work across that full range, and we arrive with tooling suited to older thread standards as well as modern fittings. Most of our visits are in central KL and inner-ring areas — Chow Kit, Bangsar, Titiwangsa, Kepong, and Damansara among others.
Our approach is calm and methodical. We assess before we act, explain what we find, and do a function test before calling the job complete. We tidy up after ourselves. That's the work, done properly.

Assess Before Touching
We inspect the fitting or drain before starting work, so scope and effort are confirmed upfront — not discovered halfway through.
Proper Water Isolation
Supply is shut off correctly and confirmed isolated before any fitting is removed. No shortcuts that risk damage to the surrounding area.
Correct Tooling for the Job
We carry BSP and metric fittings, mechanical drain rods, and thread-checking gauges — suited to KL homes across multiple construction eras.
Proper Sealing on Every Fitting
PTFE tape and appropriate sealants are used on every threaded joint. We do not rush this stage — a poor seal causes slow leaks that appear days later.
On-Site Function Test
Flow, pressure, and temperature (where applicable) are tested with the water on before we leave. You see it working correctly yourself.
Clean Exit
Work surfaces are covered during the job and cleared on departure. Old fittings and waste material are bagged and removed from your home.

Murni Tukang works solely on residential properties in Kuala Lumpur. We don't take commercial tenders or large-scale contracts — our focus stays on the kind of work a homeowner or condo resident needs handled well: replacing a dripping tap, clearing a slow-draining shower, fitting a new rainfall set in a bathroom renovation.
Pricing is fixed per service, stated clearly, and doesn't change after the visit unless additional work beyond the original scope is agreed in advance. This matters to us because trust is easier to build when there's nothing hidden.
We also take the condition of your home seriously. We cover tiles and vanity surfaces before working near them, use appropriate tooling for older pipework, and leave the site clear when we're done. These are small things individually, but together they make the visit less stressful for you.
